Admission & Timing
The Criteria

The admission is open from Pre-Primary to Class IX. Entry point is Nursery. The children who have completed 3 years can take admission directly on the basis of first-cum-first serve basis. Reservation is at this entry point as per the government policy of free and compulsory education Act-2009. Admission from Class I to IX students are to appear for a test in Mathematics, English and Hindi.

Withdrawal
The Judgement

The following category of students may be withdrawn from the school:

  • For non-satisfactory progress in studies.
  • For non-payment of school fees
  • Whose behavior in the opinion of the school authority is harmful in the interest of the school

School Uniform
Students Represent Us

All the Students of Joharimall High School are required to wear their respective uniforms everyday. The uniform must be clean and well ironed. Any student not following the uniform guidelines will be charged fine.

BOYS

  • Half Shirt, as prescribed by the School
  • Half Pants, as prescribed by the School
  • Black leather shoes with socks
  • Secondary class boys (from VII to X) have to wear full pants
  • Tie, Belt with Badge as prescribed by the School.

GIRLS

  • Skirt, Half sleeved shirt as prescribed by the School
  • Tie, Belt, Black Shoes, White Socks, White Ribbons or White Bands as prescribed by the School
  • Girls hair must be plaited in two or combed back neatly and pinned with plain black hair pins. No fancy clips are allowed.
P.T Dress: White Canvas Shoes with White Socks, School House T-Shirt and White Skirt, Belt (as other days).

TIMING

1 ACADEMIC YEAR 1st April to 31st March
2 SCHOOL TIME Day Timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Summer Timing: 6:25 AM to 10:30 AM
3 CURRICULUM CBSE Curriculum is followed.
4 EXAMINATION There are 2 Terms in a year,
Term I - April to September and
Term II October to March.
Each term has 1 Periodic Assessment and 1 Term Examination.
Marks of Term I and Term II are added and final grade are given as:
A1: 91-100;
A2: 81-90;
B1: 71-80;
B2: 61-70;
C1: 51-60;
C2: 41-50;
D:   33-40;
E1: 21-32;
E2: 0-20
N.B.: Minimum Pass Mark is Grade ‘D’
5 CLASS PROMOTION Minimum 75% attendance is a Must.
Class I TO V : No Detention.
CLASS VI TO VIII : Pass Percentage in each subject is 33% and Minimum Grade is ‘D’.
CLASS IX & X : 33% is the Pass Mark for each subject and other criteria of CBSE Minimum Grade is ‘D’.
